LOVE IS
LOVE IS
Join us to celebrate Pride in Annapolis Royal and throughout the county with a weekend full of events, shows, and of course, the parade!
Schedule of events
Friday afternoon, we’ll paint the town rainbow to get Annapolis Royal in the spirit of Pride and then kick things off with the flag raising outside town hall! A fun evening of free activities awaits you, with all ages karaoke and a screening of 90s classic queer hit “But I’m A Cheerleader” at the King’s Theatre.
Join us Saturday morning at the Farmer & Crafter’s Market, and check out fun kids’ activities at Fort Anne or a drag reading at the Annapolis Library. At 1:30, the parade will make its way down St. George St, ending at the market square. From there you can choose between our community cabaret at the O Amphitheatre or cool off at our BBQ Pool Party. Don’t miss the fabulous queens and burlesque dancers at the King’s Theatre on Saturday evening (19+)!
There’s something for everyone at the 2025 Annapolis Royal Pride Festival - see the full schedule below!

About AR PRide
Annapolis Royal Pride exists to promote the right to equality, freedom and safety for two-spirited, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, non-binary and questioning people - essentially, anyone who doesn’t conform to or find themselves represented by heterosexual normative society. We believe that love is love, meaning that nothing should stop consensual loving relationships from existing, regardless of the gender identities and sexual orientations involved. We place our work in the context of generations of effort to be recognized, respected and valued as complete and accepted members of society. We actively work to understand the origins of fear and hatred and the possibility of forgiveness and transformation for all people into their most authentic selves. We also take an intersectional lens and work to understand how different forms of oppression and liberation are connected.
