On Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, Annapolis Royal Pride invites our community - all members, including allies and those who do not understand what the Pride movement is about (but want to) - to gather and share stories and perspectives, in order to increase our understanding and break down the barriers that keep us divided and perpetuate hate.

Come paint the town rainbow with us on Friday afternoon! Meet at H’Arts Gallery (15 Church St.) to pick up a pail of sidewalk chalk and other fun supplies to bring Annapolis Royal into the festive spirit, or make a sign for Saturday’s Pride Parade. All ages/everybody welcome!

Join us for the ceremonial raising of the Progress Pride flag outside Annapolis Royal Town Hall, beside the O Amphitheatre! The Annapolis Royal Pride board will say a few words and elected officials will be invited to speak in support of our movement. All are welcome!

Join us for our open social gathering at the Annapolis Brewing Company, before the free film screening at the King’s Theatre or Karaoke at the ABC!

Belt out your favourite tunes with pride and joy at our annual Pride Karaoke at the Annapolis Brewing Company! Our favourite DJ Maurice will be on hand with all your favourite hits. All ages until 10pm!

“Desert Hearts” is a classic queer film which was groundbreaking when it was released. Set in Reno, Nevada in 1959, it tells the story of a university professor awaiting a divorce who finds her true self through a relationship with another, more self-confident woman. The film stars Helen Shaver and Patricia Charbonneau with a supporting performance by Audra Lindley. Presented by the King’s Theatre, the screening is free with free-will donations welcome! Check out the incredible Annapolis Royal Farmers & Crafters Market, featuring dozens of local producers & creators showcasing their diverse wares! AR Pride will have two tables filled with Pride merchandise and gear and featuring artwork and crafts from local queer creators.

Raise your flags high and cheer on the participants in our annual Annapolis Royal Pride Parade as they make their way from the Courthouse down St. George St. to the market square.
